Ella had her second beach trip this week...she was only 6 weeks old on her first one and slept the whole time! She wasn't sure what to think about the sand or water but we got some cute pictures!

The Craker Trio

Our sweet baby is now over 10 months old. Where has time gone? Ella is still such a happy little girl, even though we have our moments at times. She has decided that baby food is for BABIES and she will no longer have anything to do with it! Her favorite food of all time is Goldfish. I am pretty sure she would have Goldfish every meal if I let her! She also finally decided that the sippy cup with juice isn't such a bad idea after all. I am glad because I was getting worried that she would never give up the bottle! She is thinking about walking but realizes she can get wherever she needs to by crawling. She can crawl faster than I can walk! She has also become an expert stair climber. She can make it up our stairs in about 45 seconds....she laughs the whole time. If the baby gate isn't up she takes off up the stairs! (with one of us right behind her) I am so excited that summer is here and I get to be with her all day everyday! Cameron was just hired by Hewlett Packard and he will be working from home again so he gets to be here with us too! However, we will not be going in his office and bothering him! :) Here are a few recent pics!

Trip to Texas

So we had a rough week this week. Cameron's dad passed away Sunday and we went to Texas to be with family for a few days. It was a quick trip and we wished we could have stayed longer but we had to get back. We are sad that Ella isn't going to have the chance to grow up knowing her Grandpa and what a wonderful man he was but she will always know how much he loved her! Everyone out there had heard all about Ella from him....people we didn't even know came up to us and told us how he talked about Ella all the time....one thing is for sure....he was a proud Grandpa! We will miss him tremendously! Here are a few pics from the trip. Ella, of course, was a trooper! We drove and broke the trip up as much as possible.

9 Month Checkup

This is so fake but I love it!

We went a few weeks ago for Ella's 9 month checkup. She was a trooper during her shot....only poked that little lip out and that was about it! Her pediatrician said she is as healthy as can be. She weighs 22 lbs. and is 30 1/2 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile for weight and off the charts for height....imagine that.....she is thinking really hard about walking but knows she can get wherever she needs by speed crawling across the floor. She is cruising around holding onto to things and I keep thinking she is going to let go and take off one day. She can stand by herself for a few seconds but then either gets so excited she falls or gets scared and falls. Needless to say, our baby is growing up way too fast! I am so excited about summer and spending everyday with her.
