Ten Months Old
The last 10 months have taught me oh so much...
1. Having your heart multiply is possible.
2. Patience....
3. Never again will I ever be on time to anything... I've accepted this, and that's a lot, coming from me.
4. Sisters are amazing, and I wish I would've had one.
5. Sleep isn't a necessity.
6. Every child is different, in so many ways.
7. Second children aren't photographed 1/2 as much as firsties...
8. I only thought I had my hands full with one baby.
9. Hand me downs are just as cute the second time around.
10. I find myself doing things with Emory I would've NEVER done with Ella. For example, the other day, you needed a snack, your highchair tray was dirty, so I just put some puffs on the floor... Sorry Emmecat....
11. It doesn't matter that my house isn't always in perfect condition... There are toys spread from corner to corner... Bottles that need to be washed, clothes that need to be washed, an unorganized pantry, refrigerator, and closets, clothes folded that sit in a basket and are never put up because I end up using them before I get a chance to put them up.... The list goes on and on...
There are many other things that I've learned I'm sure, but these are the things that stand out the most...
We love you to pieces Emmecat....
You make things more interesting, that's for sure. You are a spunky, hot-headed, silly baby. I can't imagine our little family without you...

Thanksgiving 2011
We had a great time in Aliceville for Thanksgiving. We went to the cabin and had the Annual McBride Thanksgiving Shindig... There was a ton of delicious food and a lot of love. Everyone ate way too much....as usual. We also celebrated Namaw and Granddaddy's 60th Wedding Anniversary. We also watched the Iron Bowl and it was nice to see Alabama take the win. There is so much I have to be thankful for... A husband I adore, two girls that are my world, a job I love, and the best family and friends ever... I am truly blessed!

Nine Months of Sweetness
I feel like I just wrote the last monthly blog for you Emmecat. Your personality just keeps getting bigger and bigger!
Things I love about you:
1. Your crooked smile
2. The way you put your head down like you are ashamed when someone talks to you
3. The way you swat at any and everything... I still say you are going to be our volleyball star!
4. You look like a little Komodo Dragon when you skedaddle off so fast.
5. You crack yourself up, and that cracks us up.
6. You have a mind of your own, even at 9 months.
7. Your big, beautiful, bright blue eyes.
8. Your facial expressions... They are hysterical.
9. You have a voice and you aren't afraid to use it....
10. As much as I want to dislike the fact that you think you should be permanently attached to my hip, I secretly love it.... You love your mommy and your mommy loves you!
11. The way you light up when you see your daddy. It's the sweetest thing...
Now, if we could work on sleeping all night, that would make us very happy... You only get up once a night, but we are tired, baby girl....
I love you to the moon and back..
Happy 3/4 of a Year!
XOXOXO

Happy Halloween from the Crakers
We had a great Halloween... For weeks, Ella has insisted that she dress up as a Spider Witch... Every once in awhile, she would say she wanted to be a cowgirl, lion, spider, or cheerleader. Emmecat didn't have much say so this year, so i decided a chunky little cat would be perfect.I had a vision of the girls dressed up in coordinating costumes... Well, Ella refused to wear her witch hat and Emory had cat whiskers smeared all over her face. We went over to a friend's and played, ate chili, and did a little trick or treating. Ella really got into the trick or treating part.... She would scream as loud as she could,"TRICKORTREAT!!!!!!!," grab as much candy as she could fit in her little hands, and then run as fast as she could back to us. It was so much fun!
