Emory 2.5

Emory has become a  daddy's girl the past few months... If you know Emory, that might come as a shock to you.  She still loves her mama..... I have been a zombie the last month or so with school starting on top of being pregnant... Ella and I are long gone to school when she gets up and Cam takes her and picks her up most days. She moved up to the "Stupendous Shakers" room and loves it! Emory comes home so happy, singing songs, and telling us all about her day. Emory also got her first haircut.... Say goodbye to mullet!  She wasn't a fan of becoming a big sister at first, but now she is excited.... As long as it's a "dirl baby." We shall see.... Ella wants a boy and she wants a girl.... I guess someone is going to be disappointed... :) I have no doubt that Em is going to be an amazing big sister. I can't wait to see her interact with her new sibling. As rough and tough as she is, she has a sweet heart and loves to help and take care of her babies...  I think she is going to be a perfect middle child.

First Day of School

I knew it was coming..... There's no way to describe how I felt this morning.... I had the biggest lump in my throat.... I was very teary.... Ella slept with me the night before school started. My alarm went off and she rolled over and said,"It's the first day of school, Mommy!" She was so excited, but I wasn't! On the way to school, Jeje called and told me I had to get it together.... She's always good at that. The first week went great... Ella loves her teacher, and is making new friends! I get absolutely nothing done in the mornings or afternoons with her hanging out with me. It's interesting.... I wouldn't change it for the world! I love knowing she is in the same building as me!

Ella's Fairy Birthday Party

I have a very bad problem with going overboard when it comes to my children. I simply CAN NOT help it. Ella's birthday parties have always ended up being over the top and this year, I was determined that we would have a simple party here at home. This is what she wanted:

• A fairy party
• Only girls
• A party at home

Ok, I thought....I can do this....
I ordered a cake from Publix, ordered some invites from Etsy, then, I started "Pinteresting," and the planning started spiraling out of control... It really doesn't matter though, because she thanked me at least 25 times for having her the best party ever....and then started talking about her 6th birthday party....

One thing is for sure, this girl is growing up way too fast, and it breaks this mama's heart...

Emory got into the mood!

 

 We love this girl so much....she amazes us everyday in someway. We love you to the moon and back Ella Coleman Craker.



Exciting News

We always said we wanted three children... three is a perfect number.....right? I came from a family of three.... It looks like Baby Craker will be here in March of 2014. We are very excited, and I am very sick.... I will be so glad to get through this first trimester...I was sick will Ella, but in a different kind of way. With Emory, I was never sick at all. With this one, I think the best thing for me to do is go to bed and wake up in a few weeks when I start feeling better.....

 

The girls are very happy there is going to be another baby......Well, Ella is! Emory, depending on her mood, sometimes is and sometimes isn't. Sometimes she says, "NO BABAY, I DA BABAY!" and sometimes she says, "Babay dirl in momma belly..." Ella wants the baby to be a boy, Emory wants a girl....I guess someone is going to be disappointed.

 

 

4th of July

We had a great visit to Aliceville....my brother and sister in law came down from Tennessee and spending time with them was wonderful, as always.  I treasure the time with my family. I miss them so much, and I hate being so far way from them. Luckily, it won't be long until we are all together again.

The Difference a Year Makes

Summer Vacay 2013

The week at the beach couldn't have been more perfect. I definitely have a new favorite beach. If you've never been along 30-A, you should. It's absolutely beautiful! Crystal clear water and beautiful beaches...We went to the Gulfarium on the way over.... Last time I was there, I was pregnant with Emory and it was Ella's 2nd birthday.... It was hot....miserable hot....and this time, it was still hot....

When we arrived in Seagrove, Ella was beyond excited abut the bunk beds in "her room."

Ella is swimming like a fish.... She loves the water.... Emory, however, hasn't decided yet.... She had fun throwing sand on the beach and playing in the pool!!!

We spent a lot of time on the beach and at the pool. I'm so thankful for my little family. I am so incredibly blessed.... I love making memories...
