Christmas in Tallahassee

We made a trip to Tallahassee last weekend to spend some time with Cameron's side of the the family. It was so good to see everyone. We were only there for about 24 hours and it wasn't long enough at all.

Thanksgiving 2010

Sorry this is so late but I guess late is better than not at all. Mom reminds me when I need to update so this is mainly for you Jeje. We went to Aliceville for Thanksgiving and had a great time! We had our annual Thanksgiving Feast at the cabin. We were missing a few family members...Sam had to work and Jamie is only weeks away from having her baby and a 200 mile ride one way would not be fun for her. We missed them but the feast and fun went on. Now we are looking forward to Christmas. The holidays are my favorite time of the year and making our own traditions with Ella is so much fun! I can't imagine what life with 2 little girls will be like this time next year!

Baby news: I am 30 weeks now and all is well! No swelling, no blood pressure problems, and Baby Emory is scheduled to be here around February 21st! We can't wait!

Daddy's Girl

I am so thankful for having such a sweet, helping, and loving husband. Ella can be quite the Daddy's Girl at times and I don't blame her one bit.

The Big Engagement!

So there is going to be another McBride.....James proposed to his girlfriend Holly and the whole family couldn't be more excited for them! They make a great couple and I have never seen James so happy. Holly fits right into the family and if I had to pick someone to be my brother's wife, it would be her, of course! I am so excited to have a sister! We are so excited to see what the future holds for these two! The wedding will be in the spring or early summer. Next year is going to be a busy year with a new baby in the family and the big wedding!

Breakfast With Santa

We like to get into the holidays early around the Craker House. Yesterday, Ella and I went to "Breakfast With Santa". For the past 2 years, she has been terrified of Santa. For a few weeks, we have been reading books about the big guy and really talking him up....well, it worked! I think this Christmas is going to be the most fun!

My New Camera

So my "good camera" was stolen going through customs while leaving Jamaica in June. I have been waiting and waiting to get a new one and finally I did it! It was my early Christmas/Bday/anything else I can think of present. I am so excited about it! I got a Canon Rebel TI-2 and I am in love! I have a lot to learn but here are a few pictures from my first play session! Here are some pictures of my sweet girl!

Trip to New Orleans

We took a little trip to New Orleans last weekend. It was a little weekend getaway that we needed! We went to the zoo, checked out the French Quarter, rode a carriage ride, did some shopping, and ate some delicious food! We also got to visit with some good friends and watch a little football! Hello Fall...

I couldn't be happier that fall is finally here. I'm sure it's not going to stay but it is nice to go outside every afternoon when we get home and play and play and play! Ella loves to get on her tractor that Pops and Jeje got her and ride and ride and ride. This afternoon she decided Elmo would like to ride with her. The pics were too funny not to share!
