Ella on the go...

I am so silly!
Bayley could be my horse! He doesn't think so!

Mom and Ella

I don't know who Ella looks like!

Daddy's lap is so comfortable!

Ella has become very mobile...She thinks she has to be wherever mom and dad are. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. It seems like we just brought Ella home and now here she is crawling all over the place. We went to a pediatric ophthalmologist this week and she is going to have her tear ducts unclogged. I am a little stressed out about it but I know we have to do it. He said the chances of her tear ducts clearing up is slim. We are going to go ahead with the procedure. He is said there isn't much to it, they put her under and it takes about 15 minutes. He said the worst part would be her being hungry before because she won't be able to eat after midnight the night before. The good news is that we will have it done early, around 6:30, so hopefully it won't be too bad. I will be glad when she doesn't have runny and gooky (is that how you spell it) eyes. We had our pictures made at church for the directory today. They took some of Ella and the Easter basket and rabbit....let's just say Cameron and I are suckers...We went to get 1 picture made and we ended up ordering way more than we needed. I know that our next child will not be able to have as many pictures as Ella....poor thing... Now I know why there are so many of James and only a few of me! :)

Six Month Checkup

I love bath time!
I have so much to say!

I love Elmo!

Getting into something I shouldn't!

Holding my own bottle! Mom and Dad love this trick!

Ella had her 6 month checkup today. She weighs 20 lbs. and is 28 1/2 inches long. She is as healthy as can be. Dr. McDonough said she is as advanced as an 11 month old. She is crawling, has teeth, can sit herself up, etc. She told us she could start having table food, although I am not ready for that! She has always had problems with her tear ducts being clogged and we are going to see an ENT Dr. next week to schedule a procedure where they go in and unclog them. She said it isn't a big deal. They will put her under anesthesia and it won't take but about 10 minutes. I am looking forward to her eyes being clean and clear all of the time! She has definitely mastered crawling and is all over the place! Of course she wants to go wherever she shouldn't, like the fireplace, under the couch, end tables, etc. She doesn't like it too much when I turn her around...I have to say she is a little bit stubborn! I have no idea where she gets that from! We are so thankful that we have such a happy and healthy little girl! This time last year we were finding out that she was a girl! Time flies by so fast! Since I am off for Mardi Gras Monday through Wednesday, we are heading to Aliceville to see everyone! I am also having her 6 month pictures made! I will be posting them soon!

Valentine's Day

Ella had a wonderful first Valentine's Day. We had Conner's 2nd Birthday party which was so much fun. Ella didn't know what to think of all the kiddos running around. She really would have loved to get down with them and play but of course that wasn't an option! Grandma, Uncle Dave, and Aunt Liz came over later in the day and we played and played and showed them what a crawler Ella is. They also brought a "Tickle Me Elmo" and Ella thinks that it is hilarious!

No more ellacraker.com

Well we created ellacraker.com after Ella arrived but we had to put a password on it because of strangers leaving weird comments so we decided to make a blog instead. I am sad because we put a lot of time and effort into it but this will do! I have included pics from the day she was born until now just to catch you up and see how much Ella has changed. She is so much fun right now. She has 2 teeth and has mastered crawling so it is hectic around here. She is as healthy as can be and the sweetest baby ever! She is a silly little thing, which won't surprise you if you know her dad or me! Anyway, please put this in your favorites and check it from time to time. I am going to try to blog at least once a week to keep you all updated on what is going on with the Crakers! Please be patient as I try to figure out this blogging thing!
