Emory the Destroyer

I'm not even kidding when I say Emory Craker can demolish a room in less than a minute... She can't be trusted... Last week after I had left going to school Cam found the girls outside jumping on the trampoline... In the rain.... I should really keep a journal for each girl of stories like this... Daddy didn't find it as funny as I did.... But if it had been me that found them, he probably would have....
I like things to be a certain way... Things have a place, and that's that...Well, I have come to terms that things will never be perfect and in order until my kids are grown.... I'll also never be on time to anything again.... I have accepted both.
Christmas decorations have been interesting this year... We put the tree up and started decorating it and Emory immediately ran over to it, grabbed an ornament, yelled,"BALL," and chunked it across the room... Needless to say, there are no ornaments on the lower half of the tree... Our Elf Saban camped out in the tree one night, and Emory decided that her baby needed to also... After almost knocking the tree over while trying to get her baby to stay, she succeeded, and she was so proud of herself.... Her latest is taking the stockings down and wearing them like socks....

Trip to Tennesee

Ella and I took a trip to Tennessee to visit James and Holly over Veteran's Day Weekend... James had no clue that we were coming... Holly and I planned it out and he was shocked! We had a great time and it was great to spend the weekend with my favorite veteran...

Thanksgiving 2012

There is so much we have to be thankful for.... A supportive, loving family, jobs, two beautiful, healthy children, the list goes on and on... We went to Aliceville on Thanksgiving morning and celebrated Thanksgiving on Friday... It was a great day with family... It's rare that all of the kids are at home at the same time... Luckily, Sam was able to get off and come home and James and Holly came from Tennessee... Now we are looking forward to Christmas! I love the holidays!

Halloween 2012

Halloween 2012 was a success! I was a little concerned that Emory would have no part of dressing up as anything but her cute self.... I thought a lot about what I could trick her into.... The day before Halloween I decided she would dress up as Pebbles from the Flintstones... It was perfect! I went and bought a yard of fleece, that was on sale for $3.99, and used some black scrap fabric.... And waaaalaaahh!
Ella wanted to be a cowgirl, princess, batgirl, then a fairy... So a fairy costume was it... They had a great time stinking around here.... Now that Halloween is over, we can look forward to holidays with the family!

Fall!!!

Fall is here in South Alabama, so if you live here, then you know that this means when you walk outside first thing in the morning, you get a nice cool temperature, and by the afternoon, you are sweating.... I'll take it! Today, we took the girls to a pumpkin patch/ train ride over in Baldwin County... They had a great time once Ella got over the loud train whistle....

Family Pictures

We haven't had "family pictures" made since Ella was 15 months old... I decided it was time... I think they are just beautiful.... If you are looking for a photographer in the Mobile Area, Brooke Davis Photography is wonderful!

Rolling in Tuscaloosa

After a great visit in Aliceville last weekend, we decided to take the E's through Tuscaloosa on the way home. It prolonged our trip, but it was well worth it! We went and saw a volleyball game and then walked around campus. It's kind of weird being there when you aren't surrounded by 1000's of crazed fans....
