Memorial Day 2011

We had a great day on the river with friends for Memorial Day. It was hot, but that's summertime in Mobile! It looks like a lot of napping took place...

River Fun

Now that summer is here, we are having so much fun on our new boat. Ella thinks she is a mermaid... Even if she is a Dog River Mermaid...

Fun Times

We took Emmecat swimming for the first time today. She wasn't the biggest fan, but I'm sure she will eventually become a little fish like her sister... Swimming wore Ella out... So much that she fell asleep standing up. I always have thought she had narcolepsy because she falls asleep doing anything....eating, playing, etc. But standing? This is a new one....

  Emory turns 3 months tomorrow....really....where does time go?

  Emory is sleeping all night, PRAISE THE LORD! She gets up around 5:30 or 6, but we will take it! :)

  Ella is not going to school anymore so it's me and my girls all day everyday...keeping a 2 year old busy and a 3 month happy is exhausting but I love it!

  Ella is officially potty trained. I am so proud of my big girl! I have been pushing her to use the potty for a long time and she finally made up her mind, thank goodness!

  We got a boat! Lots of pictures to come! We took Ella on it this weekend and she loved it! She is definitely a little river rat! Emory probably won't make it on the boat this summer but will make up for it next summer!

Happily Ever After

Well my big brother is a married man! The weekend in Douglasville couldn't have been more perfect. Holly was a beautiful bride and the wedding was absolutely perfect. Our whole family is thrilled that Holly is now part of the McBride Clan. Ella was a flower girl and did a great job....we were all a little surprised! It was great to see friends we haven't seen in a long time and get to spend family time together. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. McBride! We love you!

Fun in the Sun

Cameron and I had a great weekend with the girls! Friday afternoon we headed to the Splash pad in Malbis and Saturday we had a birthday party down at Dauphin Island and decided to make it a day at the beach. I love this time of the year.... It's not so hot that you feel like you can't breathe when you step outside. Everything is turning green and blooming.... I LOVE it! Pretty soon it will be so hot....it's a good thing Ella loves water....of any kind! Here are a few pics from our weekend.
Please continue to keep the storm victims in your prayers. I have had to stop watching the videos and looking at the pictures. I am trying to do my part to help from Mobile. I helped with a clothing drive for kids clothes, Ella's school is taking up supplies to send, and our church did a special offering today. I still don't feel like I am doing my part. I can't imagine losing everything I have or a loved one. So many people I know have lost so much.
