This Mother's Day, I decided to take the girls and go to Aliceville. I am ashamed to say it, but I haven't been home since Christmas...Cameron had a wedding to go to here in Mobile, so big Emmy and I loaded up the girls and headed north! It was a nice and relaxing weekend spent visiting with my parents and grandparents. I am truly grateful for the family I have. I take for granted that I have my mother and talk to her everyday. I also have one of the most Godly women I have ever met as a grandmother. I love both of them dearly and I treasure the time my girls and I spend with them. We even squeezed in a horse ride! The possibilities are endless when you are in Pickens County.... We got back to Mobile and Cam talked us into hopping on the boat and going for a ride... It was a good day, indeed... I'm so thankful that God chose me to be Ella and Emory's mom... As challenging as motherhood is at times, it's the most rewarding job I've ever had or will ever have I know! I always knew I wanted to be a mom... But I never knew the joy and love that happens when you become a mom. Happy Mother's Day!
