6 more weeks....maybe!

A few weeks ago we went for Emory's 4D ultrasound. All I can say is that she is beautiful (even if she looks a little alien like) and looks so much like Ella to us. I posted the pictures on Facebook and a few friends even said she looks like me! When Ella was born, she looked just like a tiny Cameron, so maybe, just maybe, Emory will look like her mommy! Oh and the ultrasound tech said that Emory has a headfull of hair....so much hair that you could see it waving around when we had the ultrasound. Ella had a good amount of hair...not a ton though. What she did have fell out....every single hair. :)
I have my induction set for Friday, February 25th. Emory is a big girl, already weighing 4.5 pounds and measuring 2 1/2 weeks ahead. They gain about 1/2 lb every week now so she will probably be around 9 pounds if we make it the 25th. Ella weighed 8'14. I would LOVE it if she came 2 1/2 weeks early....that is, if she is ready! I am feeling VERY pregnant these days. Having 2 weeks off for Christmas spoiled me a bit. I have to say that Cameron is doing everything he can to make my life easier. He bathes Ella, gets her ready for bed, makes sure the house is picked up when I get home from work, gets up with Ella on the weekends to let me sleep....he is the best, yes he is!
I can not complain about this pregnancy. With Ella I was sick for about 17 weeks. I gained about 80 lbs. I retained fluids and looking back at pictures it was a disturbing sight. There wasn't anything about me that wasn't swollen. Thank goodness after Ella's birth it immediately started going down. My Dr. doesn't think that I will develop preeclampsia this time. I pray not....it was miserable. So far so good....
Emory Catherine Craker will be here before we know it. We can't wait to meet her! I worry everyday about Ella. We read a lot about babies and talk about her sister that is going to be here. I have done everything I can to prepare her, but lets be honest, you can't prepare a 29 month old for this. My prediction is that Ella will be very protective of her baby sister and a big help. She is such a sweet, silly, caring child and I just hope she stays that way after her sister's arrival.
