We celebrated Ella's birthday a week early since school will be starting for most everyone on Monday. We had her party at Kangarooz in Spanish Fort. If you've never been there, it's a huge building full of inflatables for kids to climb and jump in. Ella loves going there and we go there often to meet friends for a play date. I thought it would be the perfect place for her party....
The first hour of the party was great...the kids jumped and played and wore themselves out.
After the kids played we went in and had pizza and got ready to sing and cut cake.
While we were singing, someone thought it would be a good idea to turn the lights off so everyone could enjoy the candlelight. Remember this is a room full of mostly 2 to 4 year olds... Ella thought this was a terrible idea. She let everyone know it immediately so the lights were turned on quickly. As the lights were turned on, in walks the Kangarooz mascot. I don't have a picture of the creepy guy because Ella screamed,"GO AWAY!!!!!!" at the top of her lungs hysterically and the mascot quickly left.
Thanks Daddy for blowing out the candles...
I think my face explains how I was feeling at the moment.
All the commotion didn't bother Emmecat.
A princess makeover made it all better.
Once again, a happy girl
Too much fun for Emory.
Home and happy after a fun party...except for a scary kangaroo and darkness.
